Dr. Marie-Luise Otten, as long-time curator of the Peter Brüning Estate, has initiated numerous exhibitions on Peter Brüning. She is the author of the artist's two catalogues raisonnés (1988 and 1997). She has also been involved in exhibitions and publications on art after 1945, including From Dada to Beuys – 30 Jahre Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen mit Karl-Heinz Hering. Dr. Marie-Luise Otten is chairwoman of the Peter-Brüning-Gesellschaft, Ratingen. In dialogue with Lidiya Anastasova, she will give insights into Peter Brüning's extensive oeuvre during a tour of the exhibition Asymmetrical Architectures.

The event accompanies the exhibition Asymmetrische Architexturen – Lektüren zur Nachkriegsgeschichte des Kunstvereins, on view at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf through October 8, 2017.
